Contact meeting participants and add them to the Signal group as early as possible (suggested: Monday). Send Meeting Reminders page.
Verify if any participants will be delivering their part via Zoom.
Sanitize the AV desk and all equipment
Turn on the AV system (switcher, cameras, monitors, computers, etc)
Test all video inputs are displaying correctly
Test video outputs (media, camera, Zoom) to Kindgom Hall monitors are displaying correctly
Download all videos and other media in advance
Prepare JWLSL playlist
Place finalized playlists in shared folder
💡 Tip: This can be done before arriving to the Kingdom Hall
On the Media computer, start the Congregation Meetings Zoom meeting:
Wednesday at 6:30
Saturday at 1:00
⚠️ Important: Select mute-all participants and uncheck allow to unmute
On the Stream computer join the Zoom meeting.
Ensure that the secondary window labeled “Zoom” is on the monitors at thefront of the Kingdom Hall. Double-click the window to enter full-screen mode.
Make Attendant co-host
Control cameras for stage and audience
Control switcher for cameras, media, and Zoom participants
💡TIP: Wait to see the media ready in the preview monitor before spotlighting. Avoid switching too early!
Play all media for talks
Spotlight any participants connected to the Zoom meeting
Student talks if via Zoom should be dual-spotlighted
Turn off Kingdom Hall camera until media is needed
Disable the Kingdom Hall camera in the Zoom meeting
End the Zoom meeting at 9:00 or when no other particpants are left
